The Good

It’s all about the beef French dip with swiss and french mustard, 10 cent cup of coffee, and tapioca pudding.

The Bad

The wait in line to order can take a while (after all, they do have seating for 400 people).

Sawdust on the floor, wooden booths, communal tables and a candy counter set the stage for one of the oldest Los Angeles restaurants around.

The Vibe

I always forget this place serves breakfast.  I usually opt for The Original Pantry, but I must make a mental note to try their cornbeef hash and eggs one of these weekends.
